Transition Acknowledgement Form

Membership in the National Registry of CPE Sponsors is based on continued compliance with the AICPA/NASBA Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs (Standards).

The revised Standards are effective August 1, 2026, with transition dates based on the status of the program or delivery method. Group and self study programs existing prior to July 31, 2026 must comply by November 1, 2028; newly developed or first-published group and self study programs must comply beginning March 1, 2027; and initial or additional delivery method applications are subject to the revised Standards beginning August 1, 2026.

Please complete the following form to confirm the date your organization will transition each applicable delivery method to the 2026 Standards and to acknowledge your organization’s responsibility for complying with the 2026 Standards as of the applicable transition date.

The respondent completing this form acknowledges, on behalf of the CPE program sponsor identified in this form, that the sponsor has reviewed and understands the 2026 AICPA/NASBA Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs. The respondent further acknowledges that the sponsor is responsible for transitioning its applicable delivery methods by the dates identified in this form and for complying with the 2026 Standards as of those transition dates.

In the event of an audit, courses offered through a transitioned delivery method after the documented transition date must demonstrate compliance with the 2026 Standards.

This acknowledgement supplements, and does not replace, the sponsor’s annual Sponsor Agreement or any other requirements associated with membership in the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
